Potential Seattle Seahawks offensive players that could follow Shane Waldren what’s up guys Swift here covering everything Chicago Bears after doing my Shane Waldren all 22 video last night I’ve received a lot of questions about potential free agents that could come over from Seattle with Waldren today I

Want to quickly talk about the few guys who are scheduled to be free agents and one guy that isn’t but that Ryan poles could be interested in this off season let’s get right into it the first guy I want to talk about is Noah fan I mentioned him in the all 22 breakdown

He’s a former first round pick who has been productive in the NFL but has never quite developed into what people thought he would be he has at least 400 receiving yards in all five seasons of his career and 14 touchdowns he had his worst year in 2023 only getting 414

Yards and his first year year not scoring at least three touchdowns here is why I would love to sign Noah fan he just turned 26 years old he spent the last two years with Shane Waldren and knows the system well and then Ryan poles would like him because he

Shouldn’t break the bank he would possibly sign to be our tight end too and he scored a 9.88 on the relative Athletic score I think he could really help Waldren incorporate more of the 12 personnel with DJ Moore Cole KT and and another wide receiver taking away attention Noah

Fant would be able to get open he’s easily my favorite Target from the Seahawks this off season my runner up would be Center Evan Brown he’s just 27 years old and has 40 starts at Center over the last three years he’s played with the Lions and Seahawks and I think

He could be a value addition at the center position that wouldn’t stop us from still drafting a rookie this is also something offensive coordinators like to do bring over over a center that already knows the system it’s one of the most important positions on the offensive line Luke gsy did it with

Lucas Patrick and Waldren could do it with Evan Brown especially since we need a center Brown is also very athletic he scored a 9.34 on his R score and then last up would be Damen Lewis he was a third round pick in 2020 and he’s made 54

Starts for the Seahawks over the last 3 years I think he could get a contract similar to what Nate Davis got last year so I really doubt poles is going to pay for another free agent guard but we do need help at the position and then you

Can also add tight end Colby Parkinson and Running Back DJ Dallas to the list Colby Parkinson is a 6’7 tight end who also knows the system and shouldn’t cost that much DJ Dallas meanwhile is nothing more than a third down back but he does have value as a pass blocker and as a

Receiver out of the back field for cheap kind of similar to what we got in Travis Homer but on another note there Travis Homer also worked with Waldren for 2 years in Seattle so maybe Travis Homer will have a bigger role he still has one year left on his deal so with walren

Coming over maybe the Bears do decide to roll with khil Herbert Roshan Johnson and Travis Homer I still think we draft a running back though and then the only other name people are talking about it’s a big one Tyler Lockett the most important thing to note here is Tyler

Lockett is is not a free agent this year however Lockett will be 32 years old next year and he is a likely cap casualty for the Seahawks they have some issues with the cap right now and lockett’s cap hit is 28 million this year and then 27 next year when he’s

Going to be 33 years old the Seahawks also have an out in his contract and they can take a 19 million dead cap hit this season and spread it over two years and cut Tyler Lockett this off season on top of that they would still have DK

Metf and Jackson Smith and jiga so that is a possibility but does poles want to sign a 31-year-old receiver I doubt he would want to give him a contract anything near to what he already had but if we could get lock it on a one or twoyear deal for cheap maybe even less

Than we would be paying Darnell Mooney and still draft a wide receiver like Marvin Harrison or Romo dun I guess it’s a possibility I just wouldn’t count on it but experience in Waldren system would be a huge plus I do think it’s likely we sign at least one player from

The Seahawks offense during this year’s free agency period I’ll be previewing that a lot more as we get closer to March thanks to everyone who watches please remember to hit that like button for me stay tuned and until next time Bear Down

  1. Noah and the Center please. Can’t has untapped potential started at Iowa as a true freshman and was a blast watching Hock and Fant destroy defenses week in and out. Fant really is more of a large WR. He did most of his damage down field in college. He’d be an upgrade to Tonyan for sure especially with how disappointing he’s been. And All most any C in the league right now would be an upgrade to what we have now

  2. Someone also suggested Drew Lock as a backup QB to help the others learn the system. Evan Brown has a higher pass block rating than Lucas Patrick. Colby Parkinson is a good blocking TE but I really hope the Bears keep Marcedes Lewis. At his age, he is still an elite blocker and for cheap. There are too many good receivers in the draft than to consider Lockett IMHO. I expect the Bears to draft 2 or more (WRs & TEs) for the 12 and 13 personnel formations.

  3. The best is for poles get the center from Seattle then him and Justin Fields start working together snapp counts cadace hikes breakin outta Huddles 2 Mintue Warning 4 th quarter drives

  4. I like Fant a lot. I have never understood why he isn’t. Top 10 TE. I wonder what his blocking is like? Either way, we want that guy!!

  5. Hey Swift, could you please discuss the possibility of JF1 and a drafted QB (Williams, Daniels) being on this roster next year? I think that is exactly what is going to happen. Poles was in KC when they traded up to get Mahomes when they had a Pro Bowl QB already in Alex Smith, a former 1st pick himself. All I hear is the fact that its one or the other, when that couldn't be farther from the truth. I believe it is actually most likely that Fields and Williams are on this team next year than the likelihood of it being only one of them. Just seems media and the majority of the fanbase have decided its one or the other, when I think the highest probability is that its both. Thoughts?

  6. Seahawks didn’t do as expected by everyone last year… we have the capital, so please let’s not go back to dumpster diving for cheap a** talent that fails to perform… unless he’s drafting Crybaby Williams…
Then as Metallica says… “Nothing Else Matters”!

  7. SWIFTY are you worried about bringing Offensive Linemen over? It seems like Waldron would have to scheme to help out his line?

  8. Swifty, I don’t know about you, but I really want Mike Evan’s. He’s had problems with drops this year, but he’s made the catches that count. Give him a two year deal front load it to give us more room the next year. My biggest worry is taking away snaps from our young guys like Tyler Scott, it’s the same problem I have with picking up a free agent DT. Your thoughts?

  9. Evan Brown is an immediate upgrade, and Damien lewis would be a great backup for whenever Nate has to take random time off. Another great video!

  10. YEAH SWIFTY MA MAN ! THAT WOULD GIVE OUR Q.B. FIELDS ANOTHER TARGET TO THROW A BOMB TO , BESIDES THAT VANT IS A YOUNG BUCK AND THE WAY HIS RESUME SOUNDS HE COULD PLAY OPPOSITE MOORE ,AS LONG AS EBERFLUES DOESN'T WANT TO REPLACE KMET ,I THINK KMET IS
IRREPLACEABLE , CAUSE I KNOW HE'S GOT THAT POSITION LOCKED DOWN .
YEAH OUTSTANDING IDEA LET THESE BALLERS FALLOW WALDRON RIGHT INTO THE TRENCHES . I MUST SAY
FANT LIKE A REAL GOOD BALLER.
WOW AMAZING REPORT SWIFTY MA MAN . WITHOUT YOU WE WOULD BE IN THE DARK THANKS FOR SHARING
    BEAR DOWN .

  11. Center should be primary F/A cap expense. Practically most other positions can be draft saving cap

  12. Swifty, can you do a video on possible veteran QBs that would work in Waldron's system. I want to see a veteran play ahead of Caleb After we draft him.

  13. The reason I like adding Lockett, even at his age, is to help whatever QB we have under center. DJ is going into year 7, so it's not like we don't have a veteran WR on the roster, but Lockett's 9 years would be invaluable if he's able to help Tyler Scott grow and take his next step as a pro.
