You lose complete accuracy if you don’t follow these steps so step one do this grip check for me left hand on only take all your fingers off apart from your first if the club Falls you haven’t got the club in the fingers and if you haven’t got it in the fingers you need

To make sure you’ve got that club placed there like that like that just like that try and dial in that that’s simple for step one step two three and four are all going to be associated with how we get the arms and the body to be all synced

And solid and I’ve got some structure so that is stage one and two done and dusted stage three in our list remember there’s five here in order to get you nice and consistent is how we set this club now what I do here if you look at

This right I used my vice scul ball and there’s loads of dots all on this but I imagine there’s a laser from the end of my driver pointing down towards my vice golf ball and these are the ones I’ve been using right these are the Pro Plus

Okay so the connection between the golf ball and the but end of the club is halfway back I want this butt end of the club pointing down the ball so there’s almost like a connection a laser hitting one of these dots so if you look at this here I’m going to

Go boom boom I’ve set that club there’s a laser pointing into here my hands are in the middle of my chest my left wrist is nice and flat I’ve got some coordination with what I’m trying to do I’ve not got the arms over here over here what I’m looking for you to create

Is just simply one point the end of the club down at the golf ball that is stage three done and dusted okay the final stage is just thinking about this rotation and don’t worry I’m breaking this down into small manageable chunks step five in this brings it all together

Now all I want you to focus here is is where this left shoulder rotates I also want you to feel as the top of the swing this points down towards the ball so bringing all this together we got our good grip we’ve got our Good Start we’ve

Got our good set and our left shoulder is pointing down and just simply take your hand off and point it down check it like that these things are basic but they make such a difference up here no power up here I really feel a difference between where my shoulders have turned

And my hips I feel the power in here few things to look out for here you should really feel like your coil and primed now to bring this directly into your game so you get some distance without losing stupid amounts of control I want you to make every single

  6. Another excellent lesson. I have an indoor net and just finished working on this. Outstanding!! I tend to rush the downswing — This just helps me know that contortions in the backswing are not necessary. Rather hit it shorter under good directional control than to be required to hit amazing rescue shots from the trees/brush as a second shot.
