@jtbourne to say the winnipeg jets don't have the scoring depth to cover kyle connor is a massive overreach. So besides KC the jets have 9 players with at least 5 goals.
At the end of the day. the season means nothing. Random wins, inconsistencies is what this team is.
So, I'll get poo-poo'd on for this, but a CBJ team that's too young and lacks Centers, tells me it could be a destination for Jeff Carter.
I'm sure CBJ isn't near the cap, whether they have an internal cap, idk, but Jeff's spent most of his career in the Top 6, yes he's well beyond even 40pts, but if you want an older guy who's been to the top and can be a stabilizing presence in the locker room for the young kids. Shitsburg also could use a cap dump, offer up a 5th or 6th rounder and a no-name prospect for Carter and see whay Kyle Dumbass does.
GM's aren't in the business of helping each other out, but where is the line between "I just made my opponent better" and "our team's hurting right now, this guy could fill a hole in out lineup temporarily"?

Clearly after the BlueJacket game Samsonov isnt even qualified to be a backup let alone play in the NHL..keefe should recognise Jones as the new number 1 until Woll comes back then you send Sammy down to the A for a mental reset and see if he can get his game back.
I have way more faith in Jones than Sammy
