Naming clubs needs to stop. There is no such thing as a “7 iron”. There is a loft and there is a length. The short hand names used to be useful but now they are not because nobody uses the same standard.
Have you ever experimented with reverse arm lock? I started with an old school putter that was long enough to do right arm wrist locking. Than I DIY'd a new putter with the correct length for a proper arm lock. Doing regular arm lock was odd. So stayed with reverse arm lock, also no need to adjust the loft. I'm left eye dominant which could effect things.
The only downside is the potential lost of energy as the reverse arm lock loses the counter force the left arm would provide when hitting the ball.
So PINg now needs to answer the Bryson questions that Cobra fielded for years 😂 got my new ZX5 mk2s pured at £25 a club not sure it makes any difference
