  1. I enjoyed this video, and I plan on trying out your suggestions, but you never said anything about the left hand

  2. Yes, this works. If you’re a right sided dominant player some will say that the left-hand squares the face and the right hand applies the pressure so be careful with this.

  3. This is good simple and straight forward as no two people are the same neither will they swing the same so get the grip that works for you. There are too many coaches trying to teach the same way for everyone it’s nice to see someone who will look at each individual and find a method that works for them. After all everyone is unique and it is great that you take this into account and find a method that works for them. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for me. I feel this is a new beginning and can’t wait to get started!

  4. Alex, Thanks for the tip on the grip. One thing I notice that happens to me all the time. I strike the ball off the toe or more towards the toe whenever I don't hit it in the middle, I never hit it more towards the heel of the club. Anything you know that could fix that. I have messed with how close / far I stand from the golf ball. I saw one video about raising up in the shot, but if I try to stay down, I end up chunking the ball. Just looking for a tip something to practice during the winter to help correct all my thin toe shots , more so my Irons, but sometimes on my driver as well. I'm way more concerned with my irons. Also it doesn't happen much at all with a wedge , but the longer the iron the more it happens. Even with my 7 iron I'll do it on 30% of my shots, and idk what exactly is causing it.

  5. Alex, working hard since my lesson, seem to now be getting data to suggest club face relationship to path is in a good place but still struggling with actual path direction being to the left. Can you provide some tips.

  6. Very useful tip Alex, thanks, just a quick question, does your left hand stay the same (slightly strong) and only right hand move around until you get your shot shape under control?

  7. Thanks Alex, I kind fell into adjusting my trail hand grip to straighten out my shots and then you come out with this great tutorial. It really works!

  8. Great video! This is my biggest problem – turning my hands over due to a strong right hand. I am making my right hand weaker and it's helping a lot.

  9. GREAT tip Alex!!! I am not at the point of shaping shots again, YET. But I', on my way!
I was a single digit handicap golfer when I quit playing, almost 20yrs ago. Now I'm 55yrs old, and I've been playing once a week for a year. I only have time to make it to the driving range maybe once a week. But thanks to your tips, I don't feel like I'm wasting time, pounding buckets of balls at the range anymore. NOW I'm actually working on improving my game, thanks to your tips!
    Thank you Alex!!!

  11. I think i have a major problem with a bad grip, but I also swing way over the top. I have to say I may have the worst slice of all time.

  12. Not sure if this will get to you but I’m hitting down on my driver by like 2 degrees and for the life of me can’t change it consistently up only on time I hit up any tips? I hit in the middle when hitting down but top when hitting up sometimes

  13. Hi Alex, I’d love to see a segment from you on technique for hitting out of a fairway bunker. My biggest weakness!

  14. Hi Alex I would like it if you can show us what the hands are doing at impact and just after?? And What the wrists are doing!! Many thanks Tom

  15. Alex Wow simply Wow I’ve been struggling with a cut / slice since remodelling my swing (previously flat takeaway then over the top) I followed your advice with the right hand grip and shot 3 under today, more importantly had a nice baby draw once again.

THANKYOU !!!! Something so simple had a such a dramatic impact to my game and confidence I’m blown away …….
