  1. Mallet style putter s are great for mid to high handicappers but even tour pro s have ditched blade style putter s 😊well done gaz

  2. I think I must be lucky as I think my putting is pretty good…. I always have the aim to finish 12-18ins past the hole and I read the green from the hole back.
I've always been able to put a solid confident stroke on the ball and stay with the putt until it stops… always been a not too far back and adjust for distance with acceleration putter and it seems to work for me but I suppose it's a matter of finding what works for you and sticking with it… changing different putters and putting styles just produces inconsistency, just accept that not every putt will drop… it's not life threatening to miss 🎊🌟🥳🤩
The only other thing I found is that your first read is normally the right read and don't put doubts in your head by taking too long, right I'm off to sink this 30 footer, can I, will I, left or right 🤔

  3. Really good to see this series back on air. I’ve missed it! Working on 12 footers should help Strats’ score – that’s the length he normally leaves for his third putts… I found the Sharpie line on my ball really helped me. Line it up with the line of the putt, and then ignore the hole, just putt on that line, concentrating on pace. Was a game changer on the greens for me. I do think you missed an opportunity to sell Strats an arm-lock putter during that lesson, though, Gary!

  4. I can identify with Chris and his technique. I’ve been playing 50 years and was taught the same thing and still doing it. When we started this was an update from the old generation who played on really slow greens. They used to pop the ball and stop I think I like this better. As usual Gaz. Great video

  5. Putting is a difficult part of the game. Should be easy to hit the middle of the club every time but the brain insists on getting involved. Good tips Gaz

  6. Good video lads . I’m off 10.2 and don’t sink any where near enough for my hcp. I think I will invest in the putter aid . On a side note what’s your thoughts on this new Japanese putter grip that everyone is talking about ?
