Reliving The War takes an in-depth look at the WWF vs WCW “Monday Night War” era of pro wrestling. Week by week every episode of Raw and Nitro gets covered (including every match and every promo) to find out which show was really the best.
Ric Flair gets so fired up on WCW Nitro this weak that he has a health scare in the middle of the ring. The incident causes Eric Bischoff to apologize for everything he’s said and done to Ric Flair over these past few years. Billy Kidman takes on Rey Mysterio Jr, we see the Big Wiggle when Norman Smiley squares off against Perry Saturn, and a triple threat match between Goldberg, Kevin Nash and Bam Bam Bigelow headlines the show.
WWF Raw opens with another DX parody promo, this time the degenerates make fun of The Corporation. The Blue Blazer shows up to take on Goldust, Steve Blackman wrestles his old arch nemesis Jeff Jarrett, and The McMahons reveal Stone Cold Steve Austin’s entrance number for the 1999 Royal Rumble. In the main event we have a WWF Championship match; The Rock vs Triple H.

I was never a wcw kid, grew up with wwf and didn't really watch any wcw during the Monday night wars. This series has been amazing to see how it all developed. My hats off to you for making this series. I've been binging it since late July and I'm now caught up so will have to wait for my weekly fix. Amazing job wrestling bios thank you for the hours and hours of brilliant content.

When Vince and Shane re-drew Austin's number it would have been better if they drew #2 instead of #1 again. Before they announced it they can say Austin got a better number even though it's exactly the same as #1.

As confirmed VERY vividly by Jim Cornette, you can tell Russo was nipping Vince’s ear to get his ideas heard around this time. Like 1000 ideas per week, with maybe 1 or 2 being good. The guitar on a pole match being one of is infamous BS ideas carried all the way to WCW. Jim’s stories are so amazing and you can tell almost everything he says is true, the dates he has written down for all Russo’s folly’s match up. Amazing stuff.
