Lets end this debate…did they make the correct decision with Lowry & Rose 👇🏼
Hovland & Aberg played together against Mcilroy & Fleetwood on the course and LandBerg won 🥰 (Hovland&Aberg) Could be a possible pairing, and they can speak Norwegian/Swedish to eachother and talk some tactics along the way which the Americans wont understand.

I’m not to bothered about Lowry or Rose being picked, it’s Højgaard that shouldn’t be there, that’s Meronk’s place.
Yes, Shane should be there, he knows how to handle pressure on the biggest stage. I do feel sorry for Meronk, but one of Rose or Aberg would be removed to take his place.

The decision has been made, for goodness sake he is a former Open Champion,let's get behind the team, Shane Lowry will do OK, he is a tough competitor. Not 100% sure about Justin, we will see, I do hope they really do well and prove to the critics and media what great players they really are. G

For me the last euro decision came down to Meronk or Aberg.
IF Europe loses narrowly and Aberg, or Shane or Rose struggle, not choosing Meronk will be criticized heavily.
But as far as Shane and rose, aside from major stats I brought up recently, Europe needs these two veterans, especially considering all the LIv vets whom cannot be there despite the fact all the tours are working to be under the same ‘umbrella- Ella Ella ‘
I’m kind of excited about The bmw also. These grouping are interesting for sure.
I see Rory, Viktor, Rahm and Fitz being in a lot of team matches, 3 even 4 each.
I can see the big 4 playing in rome with the boys playing With then in these bmw groups.
The first two groups seem mixed.
i can see rory or Vik with Aberg. I can see Rory play with any of the 3 guys in the first group of Shane, straka and fleetwood. And I can see straka with Viktor. Possibly Rory and Vik.
In the third group I can see Rahm with Nicolai and would LOVE to see Rhambo and Hatton, who needs no scary nickname because his name is a synonym for Fire at this point. If I’m an American team in thinking ‘oh boy here we go..’
Finally Fitz could easily pair up with McIntyre and Rosey.
One thing is for certain, both on words and actions from both sides it is evident both teams feel the most camaraderie will win this thing.

Not really sure why it is Lowry or Meronk. It could be just as easily debated whether Aberg or Hojgaard should be picked ahead of Meronk. In terms of form there is not much between Lowry and Meronk and Lowry played well last week. Bjork also could have gone. Best scoring average on the DP world tour. It's impossible to know who will do well before hand as form varies from week to week and nobody has a crystal ball
The whole discussion is completely irrelevant, useless and destructive. But if you love to engage in useless ifs and when, then you should get the information you present spot on. Rory McIroy has never seen the golf course??? He finished 4 th on this course in the Italian Open 2022. And he had a personal „show around“ etc. with the owner of the place Mrs. Laura Biagotti
Lowry has done nothing since the Open + Rose so so. Meronk deserves the spot. He's had 3 xwins and at the course the RC being played. Hope I'm wrong!!
