  1. Looking at changing my irons just don't feel comfortable with them anymore (played your home course on Thursday james and it was amazing loved it staff was very friendly food and golf was amazing 👍

  2. Don’t you get sick of saying the same thing over and over again ?? Would love to see how many “ forgiving “ videos you have made

  3. Love the c722 in same spec perfect for a 56 year old fit trying to hang on to a 2 handicap. 7 iron flies close to 160 carry

  4. It’s mostly marketing, and in your head. Blades are great, the smaller head is easier to hit out of bad lies. I don’t like the idea of looking down at a giant shovel. And no fear looking down at a slender blade.

  5. Now this is how a comparison should be done. Loft vs Loft NOT number vs number. Only way to see how these different clubs actually stack up. I really appreciate your information. As for myself I am an honest golfer with a HIGH handicap. I know my limits and the Tour Edge type irons are definitely a better suit for my game as I am still learning only been playing since December 2022. Haven't made the jump into fitted clubs using plan ol yard sale pickup John Daly Hippo full set. Again thank you so much for your channels

  6. the forgiving irons every time bud, a little forgiveness in any club is always welcome to any player, those blade irons would make me cry into my pillow if i had them in the bag lol

  7. Great job James! Sitting here wondering if practicing with a smaller blade would help me hit my Paradym irons better?

  8. I have the Tour Edge 722 irons with venous shafts. I love them. The numbers don’t mean anything to me. I was at a shop yesterday and found a set of Sirizon zx 7 and I felt exactly like you do with the Cobras. Didn’t even want to try them. Another great video and an honest comparison

  9. I like hitting blades, great for practice. On course I want all help i can get. It’s a huge difference hitting from a mat with no pressure and hitting from a bad lie on course with water in play and OB to the right…

I play cobra aerojet one length. Yes, it bothers me that the 8 iron is 31 degrees. I have no 6 iron but 2 gapwedges to get the gapping right…

  10. Shanked into the trees. What a relief to know that even James is human, and can hit some bad shots. He's right though. It is probably a good idea to return those Cobra RFs.

  11. I did the same testing. I have the copper RF MBs, and I also have a set of Apex 21 (non-pro). The other day, I went out with the RFs, and shot a 78. I really didn’t feel like I hit 5 solid shots. However, even though I missed a ton of greens, I got up and down a lot. Yesterday, I took the Apex 21 out, and I shot a 77. I missed a bunch of green again, but I putted lights out. So what’s the thing I can get from this test? First, I need improvement on approach shots. Second, I’m really good around the greens. My misses with the Apex are side to side, and my misses with the Cobras are short.
I do love playing the Cobras because there’s a giant sense of satisfaction when you hit them correctly. The Apex is a great iron. Feels pretty good, and they are really long, but the lofts are 3.5 to 4 degrees stronger than the Cobra. They are both fun to play with for different reasons.

  12. I don’t really understand what you have shown here to be honest.
Blades are “true”, you get out exactly what you put in. They never do anything unexpected. The chunky clubs are a compromise. You lose the “true” element of the iron and they can help and also hurt you, never sure what they will give you. If the chunky clubs get people enjoying golf then go with it. Personally I like to know that when it’s good it’s me and when it’s bad it’s me, not my equipment letting me down

  13. As someone with a floating handicap of 8-10 …..I use new level 623 blades through 5 iron and if I listened to alll the lord I would be playing with something vastly different …..I think blades to be successful you have to develop a swing that strikes well or you won’t enjoy the game …..it’s a chicken egg situation imo
