  1. My comment got deleted..? OK then. I do PPL in the much more logical order of PLP, alternating the first 2 heavy exercises each week.

    What are "functional" exercises?

  2. I like to do both! One week I do the bro split and the next I do PPL. It’s a great way to switch it up every week!

  3. Good video. I was searching for bro split vs ppl. Long ago I used to do 3 day splits and sports in between. Lately ive been doingd 6 days a week ppl. Etc. But now that I'm over 40 and do more trail running, I'm thinking of trying a 3 day split again with functional days to do running, stabilization etc on those functional days. I'll check out some other of your videos. If u have any recommendations for my 3 days a week, feel free to direct me to one of your videos. Hi to the 5

  4. What's great about ppl also, with being a busy family man, when shit hits the fan, it's not as much of a depressing choice to skip a day, because you know your gonna be back later that week hitting the same stuff, so just hit it alittle harder.

  5. Where does Cardio fall in this split? And what is the functional training you are doing here?

  6. My PPL is like the Nick Walter split and i loving it

Monday – Chest and Triceps ( stimulus on side delts)
Tuesday – Back tickness, biceps, rear delts
    Wednesday – full legs workout
Friday – Shoulder and triceps (stimulus on pecs)
Saturday – Lats, Biceps, Legs, only 2 exercises of each

  7. I have always done PPL. It just makes sense when you like doing compound movements. Then there’s protein synthesis. It’s nice coming back 72 hours and destroying the muscle again.

  8. I’m probabaly gonna do the bro split I usually did the chest/tris, back/bis etc . I would like to exert everything I have kn kne body part for a couple of weeks and see how it goes if it sucks I wanna try ppl

  9. Once i noticed what the back of the shirt said, i couldnt pay attention😂 need this to go try some new splits in the gym

  10. I started PPL and much prefer it, what's rep ranges you're going for? Started 4-6 heavy and now gone for 8-12

  11. I have done bro split for like 3 years now and i really want to try ppl just started but need to find a really good schedule this video helped alot. Would love to get som recommendations on schedule cause doing chest/shoulder and triceps on the same day seems like alot.. i was thinking like do a 3 day ppl then rest one day then at it again and go like that cause 6 days a row seems like to much! Anybody doing it like that and have any recommendations?
