Between the lines joke that Taylor hall plays with himself
Is it just me or will the blackhawks not just put hall out with bedard 25 mins a night and then eat half salary and trade hall at the deadline for another first round pick this year…?
I'd be amazed if he stayed in Chicago
Now that his salary is half
He just became a lot more of a popular choice for teams after a bit of depth
If they don't flip him for a good haul of picks I'll be amazed
He's not a phenomal player but he's damn good one for 4 mil
Whereas Chicago are gonna tank again for another high pick next year
I am terrified of Chicago, if they can spend some of that $31M on a goalie and find themselves a good prospect to put under him they are going to run this league.
You were on the right idea, but i think you have the wrong goalie. The Bruins do have Brandon Bussi in Providence they are looking at but if the Bruins still need to cut salary Ullmark's value has never been higher. Also, it's worth noting that Walsh is a Massachusetts native. Sweeny seems to love Massachusetts natives like Dubas loves his Greyhounds
Hall certainly has gotten around. Edmonton, New Jersey, Arizona, Buffalo, Boston, now Chicago. I wonder what's the most teams a #1 overall draft pick has played for.
Makes a lot of sense for Boston to move on and get some cap space. Makes sense for Chicago to take this deal. But after everything the Blackhawks have done in the past few years, it's hard for me to feel good about anything they do.
What hair product does Steve use? His hair never moves or change Lol
Obviously the Blackhawks are controversial and it’s tough being a fan of this team after the unspeakable inaction by the previous regime.
As a Hawks fan, I’m excited for a clean slate of players, new leadership, and hopefully we can work towards becoming a model franchise. It may never happen under our ownership but things can change.
Bedard, Reichel, Korchinski, Nazar, Del Mastro, Kaiser, Greene, not bad.
A couple of things
Nick Foligno is a UFA. Chicago could always sign him, but he's definitely kot gonna make the amount of money that Boston gave him.
Taylor Hall was likely the lesser of 2 evils when it comes to trading away a guy who eats up a significant amount of money, with Ullmark being the other.
The Bruins are likely to move/buy out Mike Reilly and/or Derek Forbort, which will leave them with around $16 million in cap space, which isore than enough to sign Swayman, Frederic, and Bertuzzi, while also making a run at a guy like Elias Lindholm to fill that 1C spot, if Patrice Bergeron retires, or re-sign Bergeron to a similar deal as he took this past season. Even if they don't keep Bertuzzi, they could always use that money to sign another guy or 2 to fill in on their forward depth for at least this season, since they're slotted to have around $30 million next offseason, to make big moves with.
I feel like we know the 1st 4 picks.
True you hard capped on contracts
Dude you are a riot
Under Over Chicago wins another cup before Toronto 😂
i suppose the dark side even has to come to Boston once in a while. But at least it isn't the worst trade i have seen Boston make in the past. Moog for Casey comes to mind as close. No i can't talk about that trade in 78. that was unholy.
Chicago got Taylor Hall & Steven Dangle? 😂
chicago deserves absolutely nothing, not the first pick, and not a fresh start. a joke of a franchise
Nick already signed a one year contract
The future is looking promising for the Blackhawks, if we use our cap space wisely and trade players well…. who knows. 😊
Did he just say the draft class is sooooo bad?? Couldn’t be further from the truth lol.
I am surprised the hawks didnt get a draft pick with that trade, so i am calling it a win for the bruins
I doubt the Bruins are done dumping cap, guess we'll have to wait and see.
You got all the players right, but I think the years where Hall played with 1st overall draft picks isn't quite right. From what I can see, Hall would have played with Dahlin as the most recent 1st overall draft. He signed with Buffalo in 2020 after playing half the 2019-20 season with Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devils before being traded off to Arizona at the deadline to help them get a playoff spot. He played that half of the 2020-21 season with Buffalo before being traded at the deadline again to Boston. That would have been his last season where he played with a 1st overall pick
This was bostons only chance to win. If Berg and Krejci don’t come back. They’re fucked, desperately fucked
It was wise for Chicago to do this.I can't imagine the pressure that was on Hull to singlehandedly lead the Team at 18years old. They had nothing positive going on dor years prior..If anyone can teach that type of experience handling its Hull himself..
There is no doubt Bedard will learn this..Bedard will just learn it faster. Bedard will be the face for the Chicago Franchise for years to come..The sooner he learns it the it's easier to cope with the pressure of on and off ice performance and expectations. He is going to be busy..Hours of off ice expectations that take a tole on his real life that the average person has no idea about.
Very wise for Chicago to get this one right..
as a blackhawks fan, this week is basically a 7 day long christmas
As a Blackhawks fan, I'm not used to us having cap space to work with. This terrifies me.
Leafs make a huge deal…more to cone
They paid Foligno $4 million. I don't think they will be turning the ship around as fast as you initially thought.
Hiescher?
Sorry Dude, I can't recall how good the Oilers' teams were with years of Eberle, Hall, Nugent-Hopkins, Yakupov, Draisaitl, etc…. ??? Maybe you should do a video on the winning Oilers teams in the 21st Century??
Would Patrick Kane have any interest in playing with Bedard?
Hall is a fraud…..and now his career ends in a rebuilding Chicago 😂
Hay Steve at least Chicago has won the cup since 1967 😅lol 😅lol and now with Chicago getting the first overall pick and selecting Connor bedard who I think will be way way better then Austin Matthews and that means Chicago will be cup contenders maybe not this or next but mark my words steve they will win the cup before your overrated loser of the maple jokes 😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅bring on cup Chicago just to here Steve crying 😭 about his loser of a team that will never win the cup enjoy the golf course steve because that is all your team is good for 😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅lol😅 it would be so funny if the leafs fail miserably if next year they don’t make the playoffs 😅lol😅lol😅
The Blackhawks suck and deserve to loose Bardard after his first contract is up.
idea, monthly trade trees, so we as fans get content, but not rushed so its a win-win
