This NEW PING G430 ONE HYBRID is a BEAST (LONG BALLS!)This ONE HYBRID is a BEAST (LONG BALLS!) When buying new golf clubs we often think you need to buy a new driver in order to hit better golf shots, hit better tee shots and generally lower your scores… in this video I take a look at the new PING G430 hybrid.. could this be the perfect driver replacement for high handicap golfers, mid handicap golfers and even low handicap golfers? the Ping G430 Driver, Ping G430 irons and Ping G430 fairway woods have been a huge hit so far.. how will the hybrid stack up? especially with its adjustable loft and extreme power! let’s find out… and let’s do it now!

  1. I would think you would need more than average club head speed to get a ball flighted with this club.

  2. That hybrid head size is about the same as a driver head from 50yrs ago.

  3. Had a go with one of these during an iron gapping session, the pro suggested if for the top end of the bag as the i525’s I had purchased stopped at 5 iron. To say it feels solid is an understatement, feels properly powerful. I ended up getting the 3 hybrid and so far it’s a belter. Would recommend

  4. As others have asked, would an average swing-speed player struggle with such a low lofted hybrid? I love my 4H, so very tempted by a 2H, as just can't get on with actual FW woods!?

  5. Adding this club to my wish list and hopefully to my bag as soon as I can. My wallet will be hurting but hopefully my golf game makes up for that.

  6. I got a Mizuno CLK 2 or 3 years ago and turned it down to 14 and got rid of 3 wood. It has been a great decision.

  7. Always here about hybrids replacing long irons…..maybe now time to think about hybrids even replacing a 3 wood….I just bought Ping 425 3 Hybrid to replace 3 Iron and love it….

  8. May I suggest the Callaway Utility Wood (UW) from last year at 17 degrees? Not adjustable but an absolutely wonderful club. Can be purchased off the Callaway pre-owned site.

  9. I have a ping G410 3 hybrid cranked down from 19° to 17.5

Always thought about going get a 17° and cranking it down

  10. I have the G425 2 hybrid and I can confirm it is a beast. Replaced my 3 wood and I haven't looked back.

  11. i have an hybrid3 ping g425 and it is the best club i have in my bag
i can use it on the tee for 200+m fairway finder, for second shot par 5 , for 100m punch recovery shot , around the green like a powerfull putter

  12. I've something similar with Titleist 816 17* Hybrid. Delofted by .75 deg.

  13. Afternoon from Bama…coaching some footy so I missed the 7am CDT opening and what a video! Love the new Ping hybrid

  14. I appreciate you making this video. There’s not much content on a 2 hybrid. I have the g430 3 hybrid and love it. I hate fairway woods.

  15. I have a 3wood and 2hybrid – a Mizuno CLK at standard 16 deg loft. It’s an absolute rocket when struck properly. Goes about 260 yards total and I more often in my bag than the 3W. Especially if it’s windy, because it has a lower piercing flight than the 3wood. The shorter shaft also makes it easier to hit

  16. Hi James. what would you recommend out of this or the stealth 2 HD 3 wood , i play off 18 and have a slow swing and can currently hit my 3 wood 180 meters

  17. Yes you can hit a high and low fade and draw shot with this club but can you show a 14 handicap player to execute these shots CHEERS

  18. I've started to watch more and more YouTube content. Same as Keith, thanks for putting the work in on daily content rather than resting on adds and sponsors for revenue (as some makers are doing). fingers crossed you get to 500k+ this year

  19. Are Golfzon going to re-introduce leasing deals again too? Was very close to signing up 2 years ago but didnt and regret it now. £35k is a large investment (by the time you add everything you want) for a home sim

  20. I hit the g430 3 hybrid and loved it but £260 🤦🤦 I also liked the new Wilson and maybe the zx mk2 I'm looking at last year's models like the d9 and zx as I can't justify the prices

  21. Waiting for mine to arrive! bought it for the exact reasons you have mentioned in this video so this is a perfect video for me and has made my decision that much better

  22. ok….4 days ago you demoed the 4 Srixon hybrid now the ping hybrid. Which one? It seems you are more excited about the ping.

  23. I believe cobra king tec has a 2 hybrid that also adjusts to a 1 would be cool to see you do a head to head James

  24. Just started using a Ping G410 3 hybrid with excellent results going same distance as 7 wood but much lower flight. Not sure whether to add a 2 hybrid or whether it would be too low launch for me with just under 80mph club head speed and regular shaft.

  25. That's the main reason I bought mine. Lefthanded turned down to 15.5⁰ replaced my 3 wood/2i anywhere between 250-280 depending on how I swing.

  26. Great video. Bought and had to return a Ping G430 4-hybrid because the face was not set correctly into the club head. The face was set in a mm too deep and this created a hard edge above the last groove of the face. Was the face to club head smooth on the hybrid you were testing?

  27. 00:46 | You had it set to 15.5 degrees, not 15. Technically it would be a '1.5 hybrid', as it's between the loft of a one and two hybrid. That's IF your dynamic loft changed at impact based on your setup and swing characteristics etc etc.

  28. I scooped the G425 2hybrid for a steal and it rips stingers ! I've always struggled with a bad slice with my driver but can really stripe my irons for whatever reason haha. I'm feeling great off the tee box now with this thing in my bag
