  1. If it wouldn't be for Paul Mcbeth, Broadie Smith would never get such welcoming to disc golf. Contract, getting introduced to the game correct way, get proper tutoledge by Paul, connections with right purple. And what about contract with Discraft? How fast people forget all the good that friends have done for them. Now, Uli…. we all know about Uli. If he wouldn't have that contract with Jomez, Uli been more then a modest stats player for last 10 years. I'm sure Mcbeast will fill with, whatever problems he is currently dealing with, and will do what he does the best…. playing Disc Golf like GOAT he is! Good luck to him for the rest of his European trip.

  2. I don't mind different baskets. Putting is easy in disc golf (I've heard this. It is not easy for me!) I feel like learning the sweet spots on baskets (for pros) is like learning greens. Maybe?

  3. I'm sure of it that the tour could afford to haul a trailer with 18 or so standardized baskets with them to courses. The only downside to them going to a standardized basket is that people will only want that basket from now on, thus making them the "true" disc golf course. But I'm sure everyone has their own preference on what basket they prefer.

  4. I’ve said it since day 1. Brodie is joke and needs to go back to Ultimate and trick shots. He will never ascend to disc golf greatness. Sure he can sell a lot of discs to his fan bois and sell Janice Thrashers all day. I would also say I’m not a huge fan of Paul but he is the current GOAT. Him responding to Brodie would be like Eminem responding to Nick Cannon it doesn’t even have to be done.

  5. On spitouts, if you look closely, the spitouts that happen when you hit pole are when you are perfectly aligned with a chain to the pole. As the putt comes in you don't actually hit the pole, you hit the chain into the pole and the tension that the putter was putting on the chain pulls backward and pushes the putter back out. It's about being aware of a tiny detail when putting. Is a chain, from your view, perfectly aligned with the pole? Then you may have to aim for a different entry point to the basket to make sure it sticks.

  6. I agree about the disc golf basket standardization it’s hella annoying to watch them suffer playing on shit baskets I also bet other disc golf parks would upgrade to whatever basket the PDGA decided so they could just partner with the company and at least get a big discount

  7. Is McBeth DG czar?? Nobody can make fun of him. ? Is he the dictator of Discraft? 🇺🇸😂

  8. I don’t understand Brodie Smith. He gets sponsored before he’s even played one tournament and then shows up and immediately starts telling everyone else what they’re doing wrong. It’s like he doesn’t WANT anyone on tour to like him. Being loud and annoying may get you views from teenagers on YouTube trick shot videos but no one wants to be around the new guy at work that shows up acting like a know it all and won’t just shut up and do his job and be grateful for the opportunity. He needs to realize he got signed because of his YouTube channel. He got signed because all his subscribers would buy his discs and make Discraft a bunch of money. Not because he knows everything about disc golf. Not even because he’s GOOD at disc golf. Know your place Brodie.

  9. Everyone so melodramatic every time Brodie says something. Guy developed a massive following in a niche area before disc golf, he knows how to drive the interaction and make buzz. Him and Paul had their thing in the past and Brodie is poking fun and hardly even comparable to shit talking. Paul is the goat and it's well known, one bad tournament doesn't take it away and he's not going to be bothered by it. Everyone get the stick out of your ass

  10. Paul has advocated for tour baskets for some time now..logistically he said it would be doable because the tour already has equipment that moves from tour stop to tour stop

  11. I love a good shit-talker, and I don't like Paul, but Brodie should at least win something before he pops off.

  12. Sai's putt form is good when its ON. That is the problem. Her stroke doesn't look like its flows….its very quick and mostly arm movement. Her weight isn't moving forward well. That type on quick putt can work in circle 1 but outside of it makes it rare to sink them.

  13. The meme was funny. Are ya'll really that soft that you get hurt over a meme? It was hilarious.

  14. The worst clickbaity video I've ever come across. How you gonna thumbnail a player you don't even show on screen, only mention in passing and only to reference a meme he posted? The rest of the content in this video is garbage too. This is the last time I watch anything from this channel.

  15. I think the baskets needed for the pro level will have to be completely different than the normal steel baskets we’re used to seeing at public parks. Improving a basket’s catching ability most likely involves using softer materials for the chains, or perhaps coating the chains with a grippy silicone rubber. I envision the pro baskets evolving to a point where they completely set themselves apart from public park baskets, almost like the difference between hardwood floors and glass backboards in the NBA vs asphalt surface and steel backboards on a playgound basketball court.

  16. If they practice and play on many different baskets why are they having such trouble?
If you slam your putter into the chains as hard as you can every time, youre going to get spit outs.
The solution is to practice the course before you play it and figure the baskets out.
    Its really not that hard.
Im honestly pretty tired of hearing Pro's wine and complain
A spit out is a bad putt, plain and simple. Anything else is cope

  17. I think there should be a standard that baskets are built to. But not a standard set of baskets in use. I just think it might be bad for an emerging industry to take only one manufacturer and say they make the baskets for the whole tour. That's putting every other basket maker out. Not to mention if it became a traveling basket situation you leave yourself open to logistic issues and degrading quality anyway. If you look at golf, the standard is 4.25" not to mention other green regulations. That's what discgolf should look for, a standard for baskets so they all have the same size, chain layout, spacing, etc…

  18. Titles are getting very click baity. A shame because this is a decent channel.

But when the click bait title is only the last 5% of the video….. might be time to start watching other recaps.

  19. good coverage, but really hard to follow which shots y'all are talking about–seemed like you were always two shots ahead of what we were watching?

  20. Everyone can be poked fun at. You have to be able to laugh at yourself!

If your mad at brodie for that you probably think water is spicy.

  21. Doesn’t Swiss cheese have a whole video series throwing “stones”… A little trash talking is good for the game. The joke re-tweeted was funny, accurate and was focused on attacking someone’s game not them personally. That’s trash talking which is part of every sport and exactly what the commentators of this video do all the time.

  22. never really knew what to think of mcbeth at first but wasnt a big fan of him after the beef with brodie and foundation, but then after hearing Rick talk about Paul on the Tour life podcast i am on board for his downfall

  23. NBA every floor is different. MLB every field is different. NFL every surface is different. different baskets are are what they are. let there be some parody

  24. I think that one spit out gets a little too much attention. Wonder how many spit outs there are per tournament…and on the other hand how many lucky stay ins… Aaaand Gossage didn't lose because of the spit out. He lost because of a really bad approach on that final hole, letting Hammes back in.

  25. Stupid grabby title that leads to full blown tournament coverage? Just stop. What the fuck is that.

  26. All players at a tournament play the same (sometimes shitty) baskets. Someday there will be standard baskets, but it's not an unfair situation. A nascent sport finding its way before our eyes.

  27. Hammes disrespect to the caddy slamming a disc into the bag after he misses the putt. Carry your own bag after that.
