I think the significant thing to note is just how much faster than anyone else Tom Stoltman was. To give credit to Tom, at that speed even Brain Shaw running at 100% still may not have won that…
Such a shame no 5th finger for Brian. Now I can cheer wholeheartedly for TOM . I was torn between 3 for Tom or 5 for Brian

While Tom may win the truck pull and the atlas stones, I think he's gonna lose quite a few on the dumbell. I think Oleksi loses too many on the stones and so Mitch ends up taking it.
Not being able to watch it is ridiculous. Every other sport you can watch the biggest event online or tv or something.

Alexi has a banker in dumbbell, Tom has a banker in stones. Looks like whichever of those two gives it everything on the bus pull will win.
Novikov will get 10pts on the dumbell, and Tom will get 10pts on the atlas stones. Tom needs to give a lifetime best dumbell performance, if he wants to win. I see it going to the moose, Tom and novikov 2nd or 3rd.
Man I hope Trey Mitchell makes podium, he deserves so much ! But sadly it would cost either Tom or Oleksii's podium. The 3rd podium being 100% Hooper

This is the best line up for WSM in a long time. All incredible athletes. I'm a oleksii fan so want him to win. Brian top 5 would be awesome too
Brian is 41 years old, had a nasty leg infection in the buildup to WSM, went through the most brutal stone off in the qualifiers and yet he still tied 2nd for most reps on the deadlift with three other athletes AND was the fastest on the first 4 fingers. Heartbreaking as it was to watch, Brian is still holding his own out there showing us why he’s a 4x champ
I really think Brian's infection has to have taken so much out of him. You can't have something like that happen to you and recover your full strength in a couple of months. It was so severe. Awful timing but your time has to end at some point and he's been the greatest champion and promoter of the sport
At this point it could genuinely go any way between those four – the upcoming events are super hard to predict and I am so nervoussss!!!
Agree that it sucks with Brain shaw struggling, but I think he's doing an incredible job seeing his recent infection.

I belive it was The infection in legs.. Shaw show a good face to do The last fight.. He could never heal to 100%..before this.. Ig you have a infection in your body it effects your endurance werry much.. Even heart can get infection if that happen you wake up in The wodden costyme….. If I was brian i should wait to next year and end this no. 1…🙏🧙♂️

Did the stone off take so much away from Brian? He seems to be struggling with events and weights he otherwise would crush. Including doing just 4 stones. Thought he'd give his absolute ALL for this one
It looked like there was something that fell off the 5th finger and landed at Brian’s feet, probably wasn’t anything serious but maybe he kicked it and it made him lose balance or something

WSM coverage is so bad. Every bit of information I got comes from small/ personal youtube channels. So disappointing
brian just has been getting weaker with age, and unfortunately i think his distraction with being an anti masker has made him weak minded as well
