    I never understood the “sambo is better than jiujitsu” argument. Like yeah, you’re allowed to punch in sambo so it’s obviously gonna cover more areas and prepare you in more types of situation. But saying sambo is better than jiujitsu is like saying mma is better than boxing. Yea you can have your opinion that one is more entertaining than the other but when it comes to an argument of which is more effective it’s OBVIOUSLY mma cause there’s more paths to victory… it’s like saying playing a full 18 holes is better practice for golfing than just hitting balls at the range.. like duh, you’re able to do more🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

    Grappling is freer than sambo or judo. It 's more versatile ! And for the transition to mma, it is best to study 3 martial arts (boxing grappling taekwondo)

    Why do people ask this question. Sambo is basically MMA, it’s like saying “what’s better mma or boxing.” At what?

    At MMA? Then mma is better

    At boxing? Then boxing is better

    So translation: Sambo Is better for real life self defense. And modern day Jiu Jitsu butt scooting is made for ADCC. (Btw old school bjj was also taught in a way for real life self defense)

    I mean ADCC has a very jiu jitsu friendly rule set… Freestyle Wreslters dont do great, Greco-Roman wrestlers don't do great, Judoka don't do great… it was literally started out of a passion to bring BJJ to Abu Dhabi sooo… like change it so you instantly lose if you land flat on your back hard and 90% of jiu-jitsu wins dissappear and Judo replaces ADCC Championship style. 😊
