  1. So lucky that I get to watch the #1 Lithuanian golfer for free… and his content is fireee amazing? What a BAUS!

  2. I've been trying to put together a web golf sim as a hobby project using a more realistic shot dispersion from my jank af swing, mostly to try and get a feel for the idea of "corporate data" vs "what does this actually feel like on a course". Let me know if it's okay to post a link, zero monetization/ads involved, just wanna see if anyone else would find it useful if I kept working on it… gotta add in the water yips.

  3. is the answer to this question to just hit a 3 wood off the tee and get the best of both worlds? Little distance and little better at finding fairways?

  4. Great point about having to look for balls in the rough, pros not having to worry about that makes them hitting it long and off track a non issue but amateurs can easily rack up penalties

  5. low heal cut driver another option especially in wind. i find it hard to switch between driver and 3 wood and plan to work on that much more this year. especially when a cut is the best play off the tee. there's a great hack it out podcast which covers all the stats off the tee, not losing balls is certainly the most important. i find it much harder to par from an approach greater than 175yds and i know if i want to get from around a 7-8 handicap into low single figures on any par 4 over 400 yds i can't really be thinking 5 wood.

  6. While I agree with your logic, but it really depends on what the player is more comfortable with at the end of the day. Maybe some players never practice their woods but are much more confident with the big stick in hand.

  7. Fantastic.. especially because I've invested in new wedges and one's a 48'… totally new idea for me ..great video..drivers are great fun…just don't be stoopid eh is what you're saying

  8. The longest time my driver was my weakest club and I would often hit my three wood off the tee for better results.

  9. Just listening to #1 golf youtuber while doing the dishes and laundry. Waddalife!

  10. Matt made a comment on an earlier video that all a golfer needs is one club that can go 175 yards. For me that club is a 7-wood.

  11. One of my best scores, +2 over 18, came from using 5-wood only on a “new to me corse”. I took my time and tried to keep out of danger and to be in play. That later lead to a cut from 10-12 to 5 hcp.
To be fair I do hit that one quite far but it is a bit shorter than my drive and far more relaxing.
Also use it for approaches or long transportation shots => more shots, more practice, more confidence & More FUN.

Listen to the player and play your statistics and you will lower your score, be a better golf partner and most importantly enjoying your game.

  12. Great video Matt thanks, enjoy the on course management content, wadda life 👍🏻

  13. With how far you hit the ball you certainly have more options off the tee on a complex course like this. Great way to explain your decision making process in regards to driver.

  14. great vid i never payed attention to stroke index and now i wish i had back when i had a much higher handicap

  15. Ohhhh that hole 6 was for me so very familiar. It took me a long time to have no … or at least less tee box fear. This was no matter the club. Currently … when starting a round and I don't feel it just yet … I start of with my 30° iron 6 and build comfort. Not scoring well from the start … but my round is more comfortable. Great vidsky Sir. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

  16. After seeing where the first drive was lost, I would have dropped in the fairway with a 2 stroke penalty and played on using MLR E-5 – legal for HC even if the course doesn't have it in effect – it's in that rule. So it's up to the player when not in a competition. I'm not hitting 5 provisional balls again.
