PING Have A HUGE Problem With This G430… Would it BOTHER YOU!? When looking at new golf clubs in 2023 we always want to buy the best golf clubs for your game… that may differ for different level of golfers, the best forgiving golf clubs for high handicap golfers may not be the best golf clubs for mid handicap golfers or low handicap golfers, in this video I review the new ping g430 7-wood, a club that could potentially be the best forgiving golf club in 2023 for all golfers who want to hit better shots from distance… there is a little issue with this club but we also take a look at how it performs against clubs such as the TaylorMade Stealth 2 7 wood and Callaway Paradym 7-wood… let’s do it… and let’s do it now!

  1. Zero issue with the face marking up. Completely do not care. I rather play good than look good…which when you look like I do is fortunate. Lol

  2. 7.2 index and I game G410, 5w (plays like a 3w); 7w into 4&5 hybrids. 7w is a banker. Use it loads on short par 4’s and into Par 5’s.

  3. I havent put onle in my bag yet but I have a 5 wood that is 19 degrees but I have it at a 4 wood loft and I love it. My 4 hybrid is the same loft as the 7 wood and i hit it great so I am still on the fence but I am considering it instead of the 4 hybrid and just have the 5 hybrid thru gap wedge and 54 and 58 degrees wedges. I like the Idea of the 7 wood. Great job James love the videos

  4. Not at all although some of the earlier Ping clubs G20 etc didn’t have black faces.
As regards use I have Ping G425 5 & 7 woods both do an excellent job. I play golf for enjoyment and it can be hard so there is no need for me to make it harder, if I wanted to do that I’d get the MacGregor Tourney set including 2 iron and persimmon woods out of my garage and into my bag! 😅

  5. The ball marking for me is a benefit, not a problem. Wipe the face with your towel and it's as good as new. BUT, you can see exactly where you contacted the ball. This feedback really helps the player improve.

  6. Yes vote for 5 thru 9 wood testing…, if those clubs are being produced then a review of the performance and who’s game they would best fit would be greatly appreciated.

  7. Would like to see an on course review of the Cleveland Hy-Wood 3 vs Callaway Heavenwood vs the Ping G430 7 wd….Using mostly bad lies, It's my experience that Ping fairways have always scratched easily…..

  8. I love looking at all different types of clubs, but I am not a fan of fairway woods, prefer hybrids, I loved your review of the ping 2 hybrid, I like my driving iron and hybrids and I mix up what I use depending on the course and weather,

  9. Definitely a test of all the 7woods would be appreciated. I’m a huge fan of 7 woods and they have been a staple in my bag for several seasons. Don’t forget Srixon in that test as well.

  10. My SIM woods all scuffed up really quickly, but I'm not all that bothered with it because it hasn't altered performance.

  11. I’d like to see the 7 wood testing but I’d also like to see a 7 wood vs 4hybrid test seeing as they are similar lofts and where each one would shine. Great review as always!

  12. Sure test all of the 7 woods. I still have my Sim 2 Max 7wd, my only issue is when there is wind, I tend to hit it too high and the wind just knocks it down.

  13. The marred up face does not bother me. Also, I'd love to see a new video of you playing some holes with the titleist 620mb. Even you reviewed them years ago

  14. Huge fan of a 7w. Currently gaming a Callaway B21 which is probably my favourite club and the most confidence inducing club in my bag

  15. I for one would like to see you do a complete 7 wood comparison; and not just between brands but between models within the brands. Thanks again for all the helpful content.

  16. Great video, look fwd to the 7 wood test. How will you gap the bag with a 7 wood? Between 3 wood and 4 iron/5hybrid?

  17. Would like to see you test all 7 woods. Even some of the cheaper brands

  18. I hate it if a black face scratches like that on a wood or hybrid. Mine do not look that bad and more than 2 years old. Would send that back!!!

  19. Yes, would like to see the comps to the Srixon, Aerojet, and Mizuno 7 woods as well ⛳ Have an older Callaway 7 wood in my bag and just love it, but at some point will need to replace it .

  20. I see why it would bug someone if your brand new club is getting scratched up from being used but it wouldn’t bother me.

  21. Hi James, I’ve recently added the ping g430 7 & 5 wood in the bag. Would love to seem some 7 wood comparisons if you could?

  22. Ive recently got a full refund from the 2023 P770s irons because after two rounds of golf they started to rust and they looked battered. Blessing in disguise… even tho I was very happy with the p770s performance wise my new Paradym irons perform even better.

  23. I put a TSR2 7 wood in the bag over last few months. Also still play G425 5 wood. I don’t get on with a 3 wood. I’m with Chris in 7 heaven. But I see he is interested in a hybrid now. Whatever works!

  24. I Have Just Put the Ping 7 & 9 woods in the bag and taken my Hybrids OUT, will Never use a Hybrid AGAIN.

  25. All my clubs look like that. When you hit 2 inch deep divots and hit from the woods and bunkers as much as I do

  26. Loving the g430 lineup, however the shaft options are a little meh.. expensive clubs, but you cannot get i.e. ventus shaft from Ping, so you need to get them from somewhere else and pay extra

  27. Test them all please and include PXG. 3 woods and 5 woods too please. Thank you 😊
