Great video and content I can appreciate the box and the ball I see now how it helps you begin the backswing straight back and up with the ball pointing towards the ground, now I see what I was doing wrong bringing the club in instead of straight back 👍👍
Great advice and demonstration Alistair on improving the takeaway. I have now gone to a more upright rather than rounded takeway. I get my chest and arms moving together with a right elbow fold which keeps my left arm in a straight position. My wrists have an upward cock and I am now in position to deliver a powerful downswing to my ball by utilizing my hip rotation. Excellent job Alistair! Keep up the good work. Your lessons have been solidifying my swing!

Gary Player said Hogan gave him this advice, although I am not sure I have seen him do it much. But I think I have seen a hint of it in Hogans swing.
