Here’s what we cover in this golf video.
As a golfer, understanding how to square the club face at impact is crucial to playing good consistent golf. However, way too many players spend way too much time thinking and trying to get the body to deliver the club face square impact. The only thing that really controls the club face are your wrists. And we need to start learning what it is to control that club face so we can get it square more often while the body, the torso, the shoulders, hips, all have an effect on how we deliver the club.

Alex Fortey from the Art of Simple Golf gives you simple tips to improve your golf swing. Enjoy this golf video to help you get closer to having YOUR perfect golf swing.

  1. Excellent information, never really thought about the wrist and how it effects the flight of the ball. I will try this and see how it effects my ball flight.

  2. best simple tip I've seen. I think it helps with ball contact also and consistency. Worked great in my backyard, cant wait to try it on the course

  3. Played in a Pro Am 30 yrs ago hitting driver 320 str. Pro said he'd never seen anyone with such flippy wrists. At 71, I'm still very flippy, but now know how to control it. Thanks.

  4. You're not getting it🤣if the intention is right you don't think about the body rotation and you definitely don't think about rotation about the shaft, it happens….you need to get your plagiarism down!

  5. Just before I saw this post, I watched an infomercial about the new ProSendr golf aid by David Woods and Sean Foley. Exactly the same message. It’s all in the wrist position and forearm connection.

  6. my issue is opposite of the many. intend to close my club face at impact. having a harder time trying to open my face slightly

  7. Another great video sir, definitely something to think about and work on! Oh and looks like somebody might be a PXG staffer now?? If so congrats and we’ll deserved!
