If you want to hit your driver straight you have to watch this golf lesson! Trevor thought he needed big changes to his golf swing to stop his hook. But this wasn’t the case and this will be the same for so many golfers out there. All it took was simple tweaks before he had even swung the golf club and the difference was massive!

  1. Isn’t that an unconventional swing altogether? Kudos for fixing it . But a comment on this unique swing would have been good

  2. Another great video guys! Breaking the swing path and face alignment down to basics should really help everyone. I don't remember who said it (probably every teaching pro on the planet) but it's worth repeating: "Hooks and slices are caused by the clubface being closed or open to the swing path." Fix the clubface alignment to hit straight shots off the clubface, then fix stance and swing path to hit the ball at the target. Unfortunately residual effects of an accident twenty years ago with increasing pain and lack of mobility from arthritis has pretty much curtailed my golfing, but I love watching your videos and trying them out with my abbreviated swing. You guys are incredible. Thanks.

  3. I have a question. Sometimes the tee box has uneven ground and when you set the driver down before setting the hands, the driver loft is way higher than normal, because the back is sitting in a divot or something. Is it okay to manipulate it at that point?

  4. On the #1 Par 4, I hit the ball STRAIGHT into the middle of the fairway. On the #2 Par 5, I hit the ball STRAIGHT into the woods. Deep too. I went searching for it and found it. However, it was being guarded by a Polar bear. The ball was a brand new Costco 3 piece and I wasn't going to give it up without a fight. I threw a jab. Polar bear bit my arm. While Polar bear was chewing my arm off, I kicked the ball downhill and it ran out to the right edge of the fairway. I finished the hole with a bogey but was a little light headed from the blood loss. Called it a day and went home early. This is in central Texas and it's a true story.

  5. I’m in the same situation as this guy. I’ll defo be trying these tips

  6. A really excellent video. My Epic Max driver was set up as a draw when I was fitted for it. It's interesting that when I had my lesson she didn't look at that. I was working on my grip and grip pressure, making sure my driver moved more around my body and then coming through that my club was a little more shallow. We also worked on my club release and aligning my body to the target. I'm still working on it but I have to say she gave me no drills for this so I just use your drills when I'm on the practice range.😀
