Idea: Wilson D9 irons vs Dynapower irons. Lots of us Wilson fans would love to see it!
Please don't use that hollow font white on black again. It's really hard to read…
Wilson irons were always top notch when I was a kid in the 80s, but I don't remember the woods / metals being anything. These look the business and seem to really perform, but the name, IMO, lets them down. It makes me think of a robot dog đ€.
We now need a follow up with the dynapower irons đȘ
Great review Pete! Very helpful since I own one of both drivers and trying to decide which one to keep and which one to flip. Used the carbon for 5 rounds end of last season and I love it
I've got a set of deep red wilson irons and recovery clubs (that's what they were called then) in my bag since 2006. They do the job
I have not tried any Wilson woods. However: I have got some Staff Model CBs (3-PW) in my bag, and the feel and overall perfomance (distance, workability, looks đ) is exceptional!
Wilson needs to market better. Extremely good clubs.
For $500 I'm not buying a Wilson driver

1: please test the DYNAPWR Carbon at your loft and shaft spec, and swing it at 115+ mph like you usually do Can it compete for a place in your bag?
2: many of us watch your vids on a phone, and the font for the stats is REALLY hard to read.

That font you used on the stats towards the end super difficult to read on a phone screen.
Why not try the green cog on the triple diamond. Allows you to bring the loft down to 6 degrees

Wilson deserve so much more love than they currently get, I've got the Staff Model CB's in my bag and they are a special set of irons, feel unbelievable and cost 1/3 less than the major names. If I hadn't have got a TSi3 I get on really well with I would certainly be looking at the Dynapower.
Tuning up the degree there on the Carbon will close that face a bit and make the flight draw-y with lower spin…. so this doesn't say anything really other than maybe feel and sound….. sorry!
This needs to go in your bag for a few rounds!
Plan on buying this soon. Getting fit later this week. And then going my custom to change the colors
