3:36 in …..Did you get the graphics mixed up on the figures?…the 430 was down on ball speed, carried less, total distance less and span more…how is this better
Respectfully Peter, this is madness.. you have done a driver review where you haven't looked at dispersion. Who cares if drivers go the same distance if one is in the middle of the fairway and another is 50 yards into the rough. Dispersion is as important as length – if not more so – and you haven't dived down into the figures! I don't get it…
It's all well and good Peter Finch with consistency trialing this driver but I bet I could get a power fade sorry hyper fade with it.

Great analysis. Personally, the G425 Max is just such a beast and so consistent. I play off 3 and certainly wonât be changing it anytime soon, although I will have a hit with the G430, but just not tell the wife.
This driver is slower and shorter than the last one. With 2 year release cycles, everyone will forget the previous driver was faster. In two years they can bump up the speed /smash back to the 425 parameters and honestly claim that itâs faster than the 430 model.

Interesting that the Max numbers werenât as good with the 430vs425 but the 430 vs 425 LST numbers were reversed.. How was the forgiveness between the LSTs? Was there any noticeable gains?

How would you say the LST compared to the max for forgiveness? For a low spin model it didnât seem too bad for ease of hitting. Canât wait to see the build your bag video!

Great review! I have the G425 Max in my bag. LOVE it. Love Ping's support as well. My adjustable weight broke out and they had me send the driver in and sent it back in just a few days. The next time it broke, they replaced the driver. I thought that was overkill but was not complaining. I decided at that point I will probably always have a Ping driver in my bag.
Honestly I won't be getting the G430. I paid $500 American dollars for the G425 and can't justify getting another of any driver honestly. Maybe in 5 or 6 years.
What percentage of average to scratch golfers buy a new driver more often than every few years?

So basically there's nearly ZERO reason to upgrade from a 425 to 430. So far this year it's looking like Callaway is the one to beat.
The most exciting thing for me about the release of the G430, was the price drop on new G425's. If you can stomach the sound the max version has to be one of the most forgiving drivers ever.
If you want your G425 to sound better, just squirt some of that rat glue in there. Done deal.

Love your content but I feel this video is a bit of a miss. A big part of these drivers that you don't cover in the video, is the dispersion element. For a lot of people looking at the g430, (and many other drivers), the key will be how well the driver performs on mishits. Nobody in this comment section is generating 120mph club head speed, so seeing how the clubs perform at that level, while interesting, isn't very relevant to a viewer like me. Anyhow, still great content but just my two cents maybe for future!
I hope the new release will lower the price of the 425 Iâve wanted one since it was released!

Every year we get told by manufacturers that there driver goes further and offers loads of forgiveness etc etc.
why do we always see videos of low handicappers testing these?
Majority of golfers at clubs have a higher handicap ie 13/15 which some have slices in there game.
My question why donât we have a review from those kind of people as itâs more of an accurate review

What about us with sub 100mph swing speed? How about a driver review with a few higher handicap/ slower swing speed players?
Not that you'll care but I couldn't watch that past the 2 minute mark because the constant fly in text graphic was doing my nut in. Thankfully I didn't have a seizure. Maybe deaf people appreciate the extra subtitles but it's not for me. Sorry.
I have a 425. I love it. It is forgiving, I hit it more accurately and longer than most drivers I've hit or owned. The sound is love or hate.
Iâm a Ping fan but really do not like the top down look of the G430. The carbon wrap is a bad mistake imho.
It's super interesting to me that the g430 has lower ball speed then the ping g425. Also crazy how much more ball speed the paradym has đ
