PGA Golf & LIV Will Never Come To An End Now.. Here’s Why

LIV Golf kingpin Greg Norman Thursday said he was no longer prepared to negotiate with US PGA Tour chiefs while denying the Saudi-funded circuit was a “breakaway” league. In an interview with The Australian newspaper, Norman said he had offered to meet with PGA Tour officials but they had repeatedly declined, instead focusing on reforming their tour to hang on to leading players. “That’s why we are where we are today,” Norman claimed. “We tried awfully hard, I know I did personally for the past year… when we knew we were never going to hear from them, we just decided to go.”
Norman has on multiple occasions insisted he was open to sitting down with the PGA Tour, but he has now changed his stance in a major blow to potential peace talks. The launch of LIV this year plunged golf into crisis, with the rebel circuit sparking a bitter split that threatens to tear the sport apart. With LIV offering $US25 million purses in no-cut 54-hole tournaments, a host of high-profile golfers have signed up, including Cameron Smith, the British Open champion who was world number two when he switched sides this month. He joined other major winners such as Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau with the PGA Tour adopting a zero-tolerance stance, suspending those who defected. Despite the unprecedented turmoil, Norman rejected LIV as being a “breakaway” league, telling the newspaper its “business model from day one was always built around being inclusive”.

I'm hearing you say ALL the Top Players want to play on the LIV tour? Johnson was on his way down, Michelson a has been..Garcia an A Hole and a has been, Poulter another A Hole and a Has been..So Cam Smith is ALL the Top PLAYER they have and he's not very personable.

The players got taken by greed and wishful thinking. Professional Golf is dead. Why? It’s only about the money and as a result it’s turned pro golf into nothing but a mercenary sport ….making the sport only about “how much” someone got or will get. Is that the sport now…quoting player salaries and event payouts. Lol…boring, uninteresting….and start paying the event volunteers too…why do they work for nothing and everyone else makes big bucks. Are there unpaid volunteers at other major sporting events? Nope!
Keeping personalities out of it I think the pga should be talking to liv, like it or not. Times are a changing.
The best idea i have would be to have a PGA tour vs LIV TOUR event with top 25 players, 2 or 3 day event and SHOWCASE the best in the world. in a combination of match play and stroke play, Do you know how many people would watch that?!? AND show up for that ecent?!?
Why just about every liv player is whinnnig about trying to pay on other tour nobody else is crying on PGA or DPW are crying to go to liv. Liv. Players got millions to play so shut up and play on liv where you have signed contracts and still trying to steal good player.
