  1. The "soft feel" mizuno obsess over makes no difference to how good the irons are. If forged softness was so important we wouldnt see vokey wedges being used so much. Striking a ping iron out the centre still feels pretty good as do most.

  2. Never really liked the look of Ping Irons and always avoided them (I game their woods). That said, I LOVE the look of these i230's – I think PING hit a homerun here!

  3. Never been able to buy a set of cast clubs because of feel, although casting is harder wearing which is a big plus. #conflicted

  4. Love the vids man! Sooo.. I’m looking to get fitted this next spring for some new irons. I sit around a 14 hdcp.. and definitely trending up. Would these be suited for that hdcp range? Or should I look elsewhere??

  5. I have a set of Ping S55 irons. New grips last year and no plans to change them. They wear really well.

  6. As a player of i210s, I love the look of the new i230s, the back is simple, no excessive "shouty" branding (Cobra take note), would prefer the top line to be a little thinner like my i210s but not a big issue.

A bigger concern for me is the ball flight. i210s produce a nice ball flight, plenty of height but not too much. If i230s produce a noticeably higher flight than that might be a problem for me – if James cannot play a stinger with the 4i, I have no hope
