HOW DO YOU HOLD THE GOLF CLUB? How you are holding the golf club is really affecting where your club face is pointing at impact in relation to your club path a WEAK grip can promote a SLICE ands a strong grip can promote a hook golf shot. this aim of your grip is to allow you to have a good consistent golf swing and face to path relationship.

Hold and grip the golf club correctly for LONGER straighter drives and pure strike on your irons with less curvature

Most golfers that play and are members of a golf club don’t have the athleticism of the likes of Tiger Woods and Bryson De Chambeau so we have to make sure we are moving in the correct way to the best of our ability use the arms and the body to slingshot the arm around the body and put less swing speed in but hit LONGER straighter drives. But one thing we can all control is how we hold the golf club with IRONS and driver and what impact this has on the club face being square at address

THIS driver GOLF GRIP swing tip is simple and easy to understand for all levels of golfers that will allow you to hit the golf ball longer and find the centre of the club face more often allowing you to hit longer straighter drives more often

  1. Would you recommend changing the grip to fit the shotshape in a case of dogleg right or left holes?
    Thanks for your instructions

  2. Great video this is so true I had a bit of a swing change and gained so much more yardage but with driver I was hooking it. So I opened my grip up (less knuckles) and straight drive. Now I change my grip based on shot shape every time.

  3. Cheers Alex 👍🏻 I'm a strong grip but a bit slicey so will try the tip at the end. Question – I've an M2 and have set it to 2° Closed to help. Am I better to avoid doing that and keep it on a Square setting, maybe with Upright lie, instead? I don't like the increased loft with the closed face but it helps my slice. Cheers man 👊🏻

  4. more great information! I SLICE and even with the strong grip it happens. Have moved the ball forward a ball length and that has helped a little as well as foot alignment – trail foot a little in front of lead foot.
