  1. I’m neither pro nor against open scoring, but the betting excuse was ridiculous. I couldn’t care less about some degenerate’s opinions on the sport because it might affect their past time. Life’s a b¡tch, then you die… they’ll get over it

  2. I am with open scoring. You don't need to show the scores from each judge, the judge's scores can still be anonymous you can just show which fighter is winning based on the total or just show who won the round.

  3. It’s shocking how welterweight is being slept on because of Kamaru Usmans dominance. Lightweight has a great top 10 but the entire top 15 of welterweight are absolute killers that put on phenomenal performances.

  4. People eating large amounts of money if you will but perhaps this could influence judges and their art of judging it should be definitive it just means that the winners arbitrary the judge's opinion no matter how educated you or lack thereof education

  5. DC and Laura Sanko both company guys. They will never say something against the UFC. Disgusting how they sold themselves

  6. The judging was based on who the big money was bet on & Holms Had It.. The gambling commission & their casinos all won and Holi got ripped off a hard earned win.. STOP WITH ALL THESE "B S EXCUSES WHY/HOW HOLMS LOST" ALREADY Laura YOUR reasoning is TOTALY WRONG!

  7. Honestly, no matter how popular Holly is, she is not a reason to be a good fighter.
Many years pass in the hope that Holly might be able to improve her usual habits during the strike.
Unfortunately, it is clear that nothing has changed, except that the fear of being hit causes great caution and pressure others to the fence!
Anyway, years ago Holly should have been coaching or something like that, because obviously he's never been good at strikes, wrestling or jujitsu!
The judges may have noticed that the rules may sometimes be too stupid.

  8. Holm got beat up plain and simple
She was getting hit clean and wasn’t catching Viera clean she was pushing her against the fence but wasnt doing anything with the control, and she got judo thrown all crazy

  9. DC on something. Holding should get points ? That’s wrestling advantage, should we give points for the striker to jab and move. Shift, jab and create distance. Should that count for extra points ? Move move move keep away from the holding. Should that be points ?

  10. oh ok, so we have to change the way we view a fight to understand the judges. thats a beautiful cop out and slight of hand. having this much open to interpretation, is leaving a door open for b.s. it was pretty obvious who won the fight. i guess this is where they will start litigating themselves into annoyance, like all of the other main stream sports

  11. The best thing for the sport is less clinching on the cage. Fans always hated that because it creates a stalemate during the fight. Judges not calling for long cage clinches is amazing for fans. Fights will be so much more exciting when fighters realize this.

  12. Mma needs experienced mma judges some dont understand when a fighter-is threatening with a bjj stoppage or a wrestling stoppage most dont understand more than strikes.
