  1. Very good. When I get this right I have the feeling of the blade "tumbling" square and right hand almost on top of the grip

  2. Son unos QQGIRLS.Uno de los mejores conciertos ❤️ Son unos de los mejores conciertos, no puede ir pero de tan solo verlos desde pantalla 1, se que estuvol sorprendente…

  3. Hey Russell when you say pull the lead shoulder and lead hip back how do you avoid the sort of spinning our motion with that. Sort of feels like a turn your shoulder feel which you’re often told to avoid if that makes sense

  4. Very helpful to know that by getting lead hip and lead shoulder from top of back swing to come back around as a first move, clears the way for the lead arm to come straight down in a desired direction close to the body into the ball. Makes a world of difference.

  5. Hold up…@1:03 the frisbee analogy…
Thats just made sense in my head big time…I tend to throw my hips forwards stand up a bit and get toe hits, this swing left seems to feel like I get alot more depth in my lead hip area and a much better follow through path with the hands…
Being a former slicer of the ball, from struggling with an open clubface…swinging Everything "left" is a scary thought…lol. but im going to test it out…🤔

  6. I struggle with a blocked shot to the right and inconsistent strikes even when on my game . I strongly believe that the root cause is not clearing my hips. This video has given me plenty of food for thought and some great tips to try out on the range. Thanks Russel

  7. I'm glad you're starting to talk about launch monitor metrics more.. I know it's still not cheap but more and more golfers are getting them for working on their swing and playing at home. When you say 55deg, are you talking about the driver?!? Because most iron lies are around 65 and my mevo+ reports an average of 67deg with a 7iron for my Vertical Plane. (I'm probably raising the handle quite a bit at impact but still)

  8. Doing that early drop doesn't bring in the fear of hitting behind the ball?

  9. All good points Russell! Since I started relaxing my grip on the handle and loosened up the wrists and arms it has gotten me more consistency and solid shots. I have also strived to maintain a flat left wrist and bent back right wrist throughout the swing.

  10. Lead hip back or just keep the entire pelvis back, and pull the lead hip back even further with the lead shoulder. I also like to keep my chest well over the ball at address, as this will FORCE your mind to FIND a way to get that clubhead through impact without hitting behind the ball, with the caveat that there's NO standing up or enroachment toward the ball. Once that's mastered, then we work on a little separation in the swing, and that's where the fun starts 🙂

  11. Russ, wouldn’t right side bend be helpful too.if not over the top is gonna happen..

  12. “What do the hands do? The answer is they do nothing ‘active’ until after the arms have moved on the downswing to a position just above the level of the hips.”—Ben Hogan (5-Lessons, page 93).

Hogan says the hands do NOTHING ACTIVE until the hands reach hip high in the downswing. ‘Nothing active’ essentially has TWO meanings. #1–At no time is there any RESTRICTION by the hands to create a position or feeling for any type of LAG! ZERO LAG! #2– At no time is there any effort to force any type of CASTING MOTION. Although there is ZERO effort to force a early casting motion, a natural completely uninhabited casting motion is what Hogan is describing when he says “THE HANDS DO NOTHING ACTIVE…”. The bottom line here is that Russell is correct in that he is describing what is in essence a ZERO LAG-NATURAL CASTING move from the top. Well done by Russell.
