The way we grip the cricket bat forms the foundation of a good batting technique! A good grip is the difference between sending a ball back past the bowler for FOUR or sending your bat flying in the air after attempting a classy wrist flick. What we have seen from all the grips we’ve discussed in the video is that the batsman typically has to choose if he wants power or control,

At ELEVAR we look at this a little differently,. The innovation here is from top to bottom. The top of the handle – shaped like a sword, improves control and that helps you find the gaps in the field more easily, which is great for batsmen gripping the bat more technically. And at the bottom, you see rounded corners so that bat rests perfectly within the ridges of your hand to generate maximal power. The rounded corners also provide room for soft hand control, which is usually missing for batsmen who prefer a bottom-handed approach

A good grip can make or break your game which is why we’ve concentrated so hard on it, so that whatever is your grip of your choice, you’ve got the best bat to battle it out.

How do you find the perfect grip for your bat? Watch to find out!

We started Elevar because we absolutely love cricket, but despite years of trying, could not fall in love with a cricket bat. At different times, bats have let us down in terms of performance, reliability, and style. So we decided to build a bat that addresses all these problems and a brand that reflects the values of the new age cricketer. By taking a fresh approach to bat making using science and design-thinking, we were able to re-imagine how the handle, grip, and blade of the bat should be made.
