One key aspect of learning and training new movements is how we feel changes. In this video, Henry and I look at whether it’s better for you to resist or assist a desired golf swing change. You’ll see us use various resistance band workouts in this video to demonstrate. When we workout at the gym, we are typically training our muscles to work through a resisted movement to gain strength, speed, and perhaps range of motion. However, when first mastering a new movement, it can be invaluable to use a lighter weight or be assisted by a coach or machine to establish good form. So as you will see in this video, both of these methods have a place. Experiment for yourself and comment below with which method has provided the best learning for you! Thanks for watching.
