(Blame it on baseball)

If you want more pars, but struggle from less than solid shots off the tee and fairway, let’s take a look at your trail elbow. Players that have a history of baseball or softball tend to have this scenario where at the top of their swing the trail elbow is flying (flaring outward). From this position, the player will need to do some fancy maneuvers to shallow the club. Often times the elbow stays flared which can result in a steep shaft on the downswing. I share a quick tip to help you minimize that elbow flare so you can get the club’s shaft in a better position during the downswing. So let’s get to it!
