In this review we show you how we custom fit for the Ping Glide 2.0 wedges and give you some tips on what to look out for if your looking at new wedges and how to get the right bounce, shaft and lofts to suit your game.
Derek’s favourite bounce and grind option on the Ping Glide 2.0 is the ES grind with the 8 degrees of bounce. This grind shape is taken from the old original Eye 2 wedges which a lot of Tour players continued to use well after they were finished as a model. The low bounce makes it easy to chip with and with the relief in the middle of the sole it allows for crisp fairway shots that are played a little open and this grind is also great to use from the bunker as you can get quite steep and aggressive with the strike.
