One reason golfers miss putts is that they lose the angle of the wrist during the putting stroke. This leads to the putter face closing or opening. A drill to work on this is to hit putts on the practice green using just the right hand (right handed golfer). When doing this notice the angle between the putter grip and your wrist and maintain it through the stoke. This will lead to a more square putter face and more online putts.
