Mizuno JPX 921 Tour Irons Review | First time ever with Mizuno Irons

You better have your A-game or the Mizuno JPX Tour 921s are going to leave you with B- results at best…At least as far as distance

They look, feel and perform like precision irons. This is why you get them.

You won’t find extra distance with these irons. You’d better bring it.

Which is fine. Like you, I’ve heard plenty about how good Mizuno irons are.

Not that I didn’t believe they were great irons, there are just so many top notch clubs being produced every year it’s hard to get around to them.

Well, I got around to them and I played 2 rounds and had 3 range sessions to get a feel for them.

My swing was not really “on” and the JPX Tour 921s only cover up swing faults so much. It’s not that they punish you so much as they don’t help with more than slight mishits.

Stands to reason. These are made specifically for single digit handicap players. I am not that at this point.

Get them if your priority is control and consistency. They are beautifully designed for that function.
Mizuno offers other irons if you are looking for forgiveness and help with distance.
