I’m really tempted to get a custom-made driver headcover from these guys, and everything I see on their website looks super clean and high-quality ([https://golficonic.com/](https://golficonic.com/)). I have 2 big reservations/questions though, so I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with this company’s products (I’ve already contacted the company directly, but they seem to be super busy as per the 28-week turnaround time (?!) and haven’t responded):

1. Genuine vs Synthetic leather – they offer a genuine leather option and a synthetic leather option. As far as I knew, “genuine leather” is usually a cheaper synthetic leather, so it’s unclear what the difference in properties of these leathers are like – FWIW, the Genuine costs ~$20 more than the Synthetic, so it is the “higher quality” option.
2. One of their FAQs is “*How long should my cover last?*”, with the answer being “*up to 1 year for synthetic and 2 years for genuine leather covers”* … is this a big red flag? If I bought a custom headcover, I would probably be hoping to keep it for closer to 10 years if treated well; am I just extremely naive? It seems to me that most of the synthetic leather headcovers that come with drivers these days can easily last 3+ years (I’ve had my headcover for my Mizuno ST180 for about 2 years now and it looks practically brand new…), plus I was hoping that a company that produces custom leather headcovers might use a slightly more durable material than the mass-produced headcovers that come with every new driver these days.

Any experiences or insight with Golf Iconic would be greatly appreciated! Good or bad, I want to hear it all.
