It’s our first family golf trip and we headed up to Muskoka Bay Resort for an overnight stay, with each parent taking turns golfing while the other carries the baby and tag along for a few holes.

First it was my turn and I was golfing alone mid-day, so the course was kind enough to let us take a second cart so that we can split up after 5 holes (about 1 hour).

From the tips, this course required every club in my bag to navigate around the course, and many tee shots required a minimum 240 to 266 carry to reach the fairway safely! Even with elevated tee shots, oftentimes there is head wind that wreaks havoc on the flight path and once you reach the green, it’s fast and firm and I’ve missed many “short” putts that would have lowered my score by a handful of strokes!
