I had a putter fitting earlier this year and I was amazed at the information and data that was produced. My fitter had a range of makes for me to try as well as all the other considerations you see here. I ended up with a Scotty Phantom 7.2, a putter I'd not considered before. I've had several sub 30 putt rounds since and I've never putted so well. I'm a senior 70+ and 17 handicapper (down from 21). Precision Golf in West Byfleet do a similarly priced fitting and if you can afford it then I'd thoroughly recommend a putter fitting.

I agree you should get fitted for every aspect of your game, putters, wedges, irons, hybrids, woods and drivers, but at the end of the day these companies want you to buy their product. Some companies offer free fitting with no obligation to buy others offer the fitting price off the price if you buy.
If you dont buy you pay for the fitting.

I got my lab fit at Warrington. Anybody thinking of getting one keep an eye out for Scottsdale Black Friday sales. Fittings have halved in price in previous years.
