Why We Tested the JumboMax Long Grip!

Why We Tested the JumboMax Long Grip!

JumboMax just changed one of the fundamentals of the golf grip—and this 15-inch grip could shake up the entire industry.

JumboMax is constantly innovating in the golf grip space, and JumboMax now looks at five key fundamentals of grip fitting: size, weight, shape, texture, and length.

Today, we’re testing length.

The new JumboMax 15-inch grip is here, and we put it through its paces to understand what actually changes when you add that much usable grip length.

Who is the JumboMax 15-inch grip for? What does the additional length allow you to do? What happens when you grip down? And most importantly, does it actually make a difference in the real world?

We test it, break down the results, and tell you everything you need to know about the new JumboMax 15-inch grip.

  1. I'm a fan of bigger grips, but this is kinda goofy. Maybe on a minimalist bag setup it makes sense. Otherwise I could see this on the QClub. The problem with gripping down so far is the dynamic lie angle gets out of wack. The odd really above the feet lie as the video points out is another use case. Would have prefer they release the zen grip texture with tour series weight or in the str8 taper… The str8 line can use a revamp with no aroccs as it adds length in a weird way. The custom tour lock JMX grips have been in development for a long time now. Not sure if it will ever come out
