ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The Boston College Men’s Golf team finished the second round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational Saturday afternoon and saw two strong second rounds from senior Markus Lam and sophomore Tony Yin.
On the second day, Lam shot a 1-under-par 71 and recorded an eagle on the ninth hole of the round. Lam goes into the final day shooting 3-under on Par-5 holes and is tied for 32nd place.
Yin with three birdies in the round, moved up 14 spots with an even 72 score in round two. He goes into the final day shooting even on Par-3 and Par-5 holes. Yin is also tied with Lam for a total score of 145.
William Musson completed round two shooting 5-over par and recorded two birdies on the sixth and 14th holes of the round. He is currently even on Par-5 holes.
Thomas Wang finished the second round shooting a 1-over-par 73, with one birdie, and shooting par on the final eight holes. Wang is shooting 1-under on Par-3 and even on Par-4 holes heading into the third round. Kieran Low recorded a 75 in the second round with two birdies. He improved from day one by three strokes.
The Eagles, shooting 9-over par, will start to tee off at 9:56 a.m. tomorrow morning, Oct. 18, for the third and final round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational.
