CARTERVILLE, Ill. (Heartland News) – Crab Orchard Golf Club announced it will close its golf course on March 1, 2027.
In a social media post, they said they are closing due to health challenges in their family and the rising costs of chemicals, equipment, fuel, labor, insurance premiums and property taxes. They said they did not want to increase fees for guests.
They extended their gratitude to the staff, thanking them for their dedication over the past six seasons.
