Mandan’s Isabella Hale wins Class A golf title; Sheyenne takes team trophy

MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) – Mandan’s Isabella Hale became just the second Braves’ girls golfer to ever win an individual state championship on Tuesday. Hale won the Class A girls state golf title by shooting a two-day total of 150.

Hale had five birdies across two days at Riverwood Golf Course in Bismarck, and four of those came on the back nine in the final round. She won the title by seven strokes.

Hale joins Anna Huettl as the only Braves girls golfers to ever win an individual state championship.

West Fargo Sheyenne won its second consecutive team championship with a 651. That was 14 shots better than second place.
