KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A backyard in Independence turned into a tiny golf course Saturday to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
It’s a charity event Ed Speer has been putting on for a while. He says it’s all to give back to an organization that changed his life and brought another member into his family.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters is an incredible organization that changes lives every single day, and they do more than just provide role models and mentors to the community, but they directly change our inner community here and help with the success,” he said.
Speer said he was thrilled by the turnout, with family and friends coming together to support the cause and have fun along the way.
