First held in 2001, this year marks the 25th anniversary of a tournament that celebrates links golf at its finest. Held across the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns with the final round being played at the Old Course at The Home of Golf. Robert MacIntyre returns to defend his title he won just seven days after starring in Team Europe’s Ryder Cup win at Bethpage Black, where he became the fourth winner to hail from Scotland. Players from 28 different nations are making the journey to Scotland. Among them is an incredible line of Major Champions including Justin Rose, Matt Fitzpatrick, Bubba Watson and Brooks Koepka who is looking to become the first American winner of this tournament. Joining them is a star-studded line-up including Tommy Fleetwood, Sepp Straka and Tyrrell Hatton. With the top three ranked players on the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World not teeing it up this week, an opportunity is presented to those further down the standings as we draw nearer to the DP World Tour Play-Offs. Unlike most events on the DP World Tour, the championship includes an individual professional tournament featuring a field of 168 players along with a team championship in which each professional is paired with an amateur.
Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.
