Golfers from across Saskatchewan competed over 36 holes Friday and Saturday, with provincial individual and team championships on the line.
Saskatoon’s Grace Odnokon captured the girls individual title, finishing with a two-round total of 160. She carded an opening-round 86 before improving to a 74 on Saturday.
Wynyard’s Alyxa Melsted finished second at 161, followed by Warman’s Tina Liu at 167.
The boys championship was won by Shae Maunula of Battle West, who posted rounds of 76 and 67 for a 143 total.
Humboldt’s Tylan Wallin and Melville’s Keaton Kreklewich shared second at 148. Wallin shot 75 and 73, while Kreklewich finished with rounds of 77 and 71.
Saskatoon also topped the team standings on both the boys and girls sides, capping a successful championship weekend for the city’s high school golf programs.
The provincial tournament brought together golfers representing schools from throughout Saskatchewan for two days of competition at Humboldt Golf Club.
