Michael Jordan got 56 points on 20/30 shooting and 16/18 FT. He apparently went scoreless in the first quarter so most of those misses happened then; which means by the time the second quarter started, he practically stopped missing.😅
Oh yeah, he grabbed 5 rebounds and 4 steals on top of that; dished out 5 assists for good measure and 2 blocks.
Scottie helped too. He got 31.

Tim Duncan's use of the backboard was strategic and analytical, Jordan's was artistic and imaginative. Almost like the backboard didn't exist until he needed it to 😂 Great Video!
When i was in college, i had just lifted (arms/shoulders and some chest)..went upstairs to the basketball courts where an intramural game was going on…sat and watched, at halftime a cute ref was shooting around and the ball rolled to my feet..i picked it up and went for a (usually easy money) jumper…my arms were dead and it barely made it to the paint 🤣 i was so embarrassed.. she found me in the parking lot afterwards and we ended up dating 🤣 but yeah, if you lift too much, the jumper would definitely be off 🤣

I started to watch the NBA in 1991. That Miami Heat team was the first one I connected with. Rice, Smith, and Seikaly, they were my guys. In 1992 Harold Miner was drafted, Baby Jordan. He had potential, but injuries derailed his career. Then came Mourning, Hardaway, Majerle, Mashburn, P.J. Brown, and Pat Riley. That late 90's squad still is my favorite team ever. The only time I rooted against the Bulls was when the Heat faced them in the playoffs.

To add to the Jordan highlights comment at 8:03, I think it was Magic Johnson who said you didn’t want to take your eyes off the court when MJ played because you might miss something special. This goes back to him giving his all every night because there might be someone who saved up for the chance to see him play just once, and so he owed it to that person to put on a show. I’m no Taylor Swift fan, but apparently she brings it every show, and you gotta give her props for that. That’s the music equivalent of MJ. Whereas LeBron is like a performer who’ll cancel like every third show, and when they perform they just do like the bare minimum. They might put on a good show every once in a while, but for the most part they’ll just play the obligatory hour or so and then call it a night.
