East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State’s men’s golf team is back on the course on Monday for its third event of the season, starting play at the Windon Memorial.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being played at the par-70, 6.716-yard Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, Ill. and will be hosted by Northwestern University.
The Spartans will tee off on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. (ET) from the first through the fourth holes, playing alongside host Northwestern, Notre Dame and South Florida. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday with 18 holes on Tuesday, slated for a 9 a.m. (ET) shotgun start.

ABOUT THE SPARTANS
Michigan State opened the season with a tie for third place among nine teams at the New York Harbor Cup, firing an 11-under par 841 (283-280-278) … Senior McCoy Biagioli was the top finisher for MSU, finishing in eighth place at 5-under par 208 (68-77-73)
The Spartans followed that up with a tie for sixth place among 14 teams at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, carding a 3-under par 849 (279-292-278) … Junior Julian Menser tied for ninth place at 4-under par 209 (68-73-68)
Biagioli and Menser are tied for the team lead in scoring average at 69.83 … Both have a pair of top-20 finishes and Menser has two top-10 finishes.
Senior Lorenzo Pinili is third on the team with a 71.17 scoring average, his best finish a tied for 19th place at the New York Harbor Cup.
Sophomore Luke Mueller and senior Lucas Acevedo have both been parts of the scoring lineup in the first two tournaments … Acevedo is fourth on the team with a 72.67 scoring average, while Mueller is fifth with a 72.83 scoring average.
Sophomore Connor Fox, who has played in one tournament, tying for 51st place at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at 17-over par 230, is playing as an individual.

MICHIGAN STATE AT THE WINDON MEMORIAL CLASSIC
Michigan State is making its sixth appearance, and fourth-straight, at the Windon Memorial Classic.
Last year, the Spartans shot a 16-under par 848 (289-278-281) and tied for sixth place among 11 teams, with then-seniors Caleb Bond (72-70-69) and Ashton McCulloch (74-69-68) finishing in a tie for 14th place at 5-under par 211.
The Spartans finished in 16th place in 2024, 15th place in 2023, ninth place in 2021 and as the runner-up in 2018.
