There are reports this afternoon that an independent tribunal has reached decisions in Manchester City’s 115 charges case.

The reports claim that most of the charges were found to have been proven. Sky Sports News understands that the process is moving to the appeal stage.

The Premier League are not commenting as this is a private and confidential process. They will not be providing any guidance.

A Manchester City spokesperson said: “The Premier League process remains ongoing, with significant elements to be completed, and subject to strict confidentiality. As such Manchester City FC’s position remains consistent with the Club’s statement of February 2023.

“The Club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis that the Premier League Board and Executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair-minded regulator, free from partisan influence.”

  1. It doesn't make sense to me why Manchester City is being accused. They sell players for huge amounts of money, and they've even won the Champions League and the Premier League six times. Those achievements bring in more revenue, so how can they still be accused of breaking the financial rules?
Chelsea and Manchester United have also spent huge amounts of money on players, even without winning the Premier League or the Champions League. So why does it seem like Manchester City is being treated differently?
Out of the 115 charges, one has already been dismissed. Who's to say the other 114 charges will actually be proven? Just because there are 115 charges doesn't automatically mean they're guilty. If one charge has been dismissed, the remaining 114 still need to be proven with solid evidence.

  2. Why is FFP even being treated like this? If Manchester City is found guilty, why would they have to surrender their trophies? This is a completely different case. It's not match-fixing or bribing referees. If it were something like that, then I could understand the punishment. But this? Seriously, what is wrong with the FA? This is absolutely ridiculous!

  3. Meanwhile, other clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham have spent huge amounts of money on players despite not winning major trophies. They haven't faced the same sanctions, even though their spending has sometimes exceeded their revenue. So why is Manchester City being treated differently?

  4. Please God. Please let this go through. Show us there is still justice and fair play. Show us that corrupt organisations such as City always get their deserved comeuppance. This is for the glory of the beautiful game that we love and adore so much

  5. Forget the fans, forget the players, im calling out one Pep Guardiola as a absolutely fraud of a manager, he knew this was coming and got out so the conversation about he can only do it with money and top players didn't come about, fraud of a manager average at best
