Kamas, Utah, a small community of about 2,100 residents at the scenic intersection of the Wasatch Range and Uinta Mountains, has long been shaped by cattle ranching and the lumber industry. The town also has a more polished side, with high-end homes and private clubs adding a new dimension to its traditional rural character.

Highlights of the design include white oak floors beneath cathedral ceilings, sophisticated millwork, patterned wallpapers, and stone finishes.

Marble backsplashes and counters line the kitchen’s main cooking space—fronted by a dining area—and the separate catering kitchen.
