Long story short – ocm is to blame…takes a historic course where you have to be creative with your shots and turns it into a course with no trees and you can bomb driver down fairways….
I thought the course was fine the way it was. This redesign seems gimmicky which was not the intent of the original architect. I'm sure it will be fun to watch for match play but I don't see this redesign as a net positive.

Great review,,less trees and more bunkers is good news for tour pros. Unless the bunkers are deep ,pros can score out of any fairway bunkers .
