Ottawa 154, La Salle-Peru 161, Morris 168, Lockport 172: At Morris Country Club, the Pirates earned first place in the quadangular.
Bryer Harris fired a 1-under 35 to earn medalist honors for Ottawa. The Pirates also received counting scores from Jaxon Neu (39), Joshua Armstrong (40) and Logan Cottingham (40).
Fieldcrest finishes runner-up at Livingston County Invitational: At Wolf Creek Golf Club in Pontiac: The Knights carded a team score of 336 to finish behind only champion Normal U-High (305).
Carter Senko shot an even-par 72 to finish in second place, with other counting scores coming from Drew Overocker (87, 20th), Ryan Ehrnthaller (87, 22nd) and Cohen Reichman (90, 30th).
Woodland posted a team score of 442 to finish 11th. The Warriors were led by Braden Matsko (98, 44th) and Noah Lopez (104, 51st).
Putnam County 183, Dwight 185, Roanoke-Benson 186: At Tall Oaks Country Club in Toluca, the Trojans finished second in a very tight battle with the Panthers and Rockets.
Dwight was led by 46s from Case Christensen, Logan Rice and Dane Frobish, with Caden Christensen adding a 47.
Girls golf
Ottawa places 11th at the La Salle-Peru Lady Cavs 18-hole Scramble: At Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Course, the Pirates’ foursome of Addy Diss, Audrina Banushi, Bella Borowski and Mara McCullough combined for a score of 91 to finish in 11th place.
Fieldcrest places 9th at Livingston County Invitational: At Wolf Creek Golf Club in Pontiac, the Knights posted a team score of 472 to place ninth at the event.
Fieldcrest was led individually by Madaline Theesfield (103, 28th) and Olivia Bernardi (113, 39th).
Hinckley-Big Rock 240, IMSA 249, Somonauk 283: At Bliss Creek Golf Course in Sugar Grove, the Bobcats finished behind the Royals and Titans.
Volleyball
Wilmington d. Streator 25-18, 24-26, 25-15: At Pops Dale Gymnasium, the Bulldogs (7-4-2, 3-2) fell in the Illinois Central Eight Conference match to the Wildcats.
Streator was led by Kinslee Sweeden (eight kills, three aces, seven digs, 13 assists), Ashlee Taylor (five kills, an ace, eight digs, 10 assists), Sophie Snow (five kills, a block), Malea Zavada (four kills, two blocks, an ace), Avery Gribbin (four kills, an ace, seven digs), Alexa Barr (two kills, three aces, 15 digs) and Kenndedy Harcharik (17 digs).
Seneca d. Dwight 25-13, 25-22: At Dwight, the Fighting Irish (12-2, 5-0) earned the Tri-County Conference triumph over the Trojans.
Seneca was led by Graysen Provance (18 assists, five kills), Brooklyn Sheedy (10 kills) and Franki Meyers (nine kills), as well as the back row play of Emma Mino, Tori Skelton and Brynlee Hunt.
Newark d. Leland 25-8, 25-4: At Newark, the Norsemen (15-4, 4-1) topped the Panthers in the Little Ten Conference match.
Newark was led by Juliette Fordyce (six aces, three assists), Zoey Carlson (four kills), Sara Monsess (three kills) and Tessa Kot (two kills).
Indian Creek d. Somonauk 25-20, 25-23: At Shabbona, the Bobcats (6-3, 2-2) dropped the LTC match to the Timberwolves.
Somonauk was led by Ady Werner (15 kills, seven digs), Shaynee King (four kills), Bella Rolf (four kills), Ashley McCoy (seven digs) and Brooke Bahrey (17 assists, seven digs).
Morris d. Sandwich 25-20, 25-22: At Morris, the Indians dropped to 6-7 on the season with the loss to the Warriors.

Boys soccer
Sycamore 1, Ottawa 1 (Sycamore wins 5-3 on penalty kicks): At Ottawa, the Pirates used a penalty kick goal by Alexio Fernandez with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to send the match to penalty kicks.
Alexio Fernandez, Joey Tipple, Luca Fernandez all found the back of the net in PKs, while Landry Brenbarger made three great saves for Ottawa.
Serena 5, Illinois Valley Central 0: At Chillicothe, the Huskers – led by three goals from Easton Bucz – improved to 6-2 on the season with the victory over the Grey Ghosts.
Joey Tuftie and Justin Delgado also each scored goals for Serena, while Delgado, Ryne DeBernari and Harry Rosengren each provided an assist.
Herscher 3, Streator 0: At Herscher, the Bulldogs (5-5-2, 1-1) fell in the ICE match to the host Tigers.
Somonauk/Leland/Newark 4, Plano 0: At Somonauk, the Bobcats scored twice in each half in improving to 4-2-2 on the season with the win over the Reapers.
