On October 1-2, the Nordic Golf League Q-School First Stage will take place at Greve Golfklub in Denmark. The qualifier is open to both professionals and elite amateurs with a handicap of 3.4 or better – and could be your first step towards a full season on the ECCO Tour in 2027.

The Danish First Stage will be played over 36 holes at Greve Golfklub on October 1-2, 2026.
A great opportunity for young talents
Q-School is not only for established professionals. Young elite amateurs are also welcome to enter, and with a handicap limit of 3.4, the event provides an excellent opportunity to test your game in a professional tournament environment.
You do not have to turn professional to give it a shot.
Every player competing in the Danish First Stage will receive Category 14 on the ECCO Tour for 2027, ranked according to their finishing position. This provides opportunities to gain starts in ECCO Tour events throughout the season.
For the leading players, the journey continues at the Final Stage in Sweden.
Play your way to a stronger category
Across the Nordic Golf League First Stage qualifiers, a maximum of 78 players will advance to the Final Stage. The number of qualifying spots available at each First Stage venue will depend on the number of entries and will be announced before the first round.
The Final Stage will be played over 36 holes without a cut in Sweden, with the final positions determining the players’ categories for 2027:
1st-25th: Category 7
26th-50th: Category 9
51st-last: Category 12
That means two strong days in Greve, followed by a good performance at the Final Stage, can significantly improve your playing opportunities on the Nordic Golf League in 2027.
